Ordered as S70384, this is an AS568-384 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. This material stands up to weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or concentrated acids are present.
