-406 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-406 red Silicone 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm), catalogued under part number S70406. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Silicone is widely chosen for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.
