-412 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70412 is an AS568-412 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.4 in (86.36 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to many oxidizing chemicals, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is specified for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
