S70413 is an AS568-413 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.975 in (75.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.525 in (89.54 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is specified for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.

Typical settings include sanitary process lines, ovens and heated equipment, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
