-423 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70423 is an AS568-423 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.775 in (121.29 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is widely chosen for an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
