-427 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70427 is an AS568-427 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.725 in (120.02 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.275 in (133.99 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against weathering, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Silicone is widely chosen for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in sanitary process lines, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
