Part number S70429 is an AS568-429 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.525 in (140.34 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. Silicone is specified for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids are present.
