Ordered as S70437, this is an AS568-437 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.525 in (165.74 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or steam above its rated range.
