-448 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70448 is an AS568-448 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.025 in (254.64 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone is specified for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Expect good resistance to weathering, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
