-455 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70455 is an AS568-455 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).

It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, food and beverage processing, and ovens and heated equipment.
