-457 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70457 is an AS568-457 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.525 in (368.94 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is known for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. It resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range call for a different compound.
