-012 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70012 is an AS568-012 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists ozone and UV exposure, many oxidizing chemicals, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.
