-015 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70015, an AS568-015 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. Expect good resistance to weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.
