-016 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70016, an AS568-016 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Silicone offers excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material holds up against many oxidizing chemicals, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

It sees regular use in sanitary process lines, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and ovens and heated equipment.
