Part number S70025 is an AS568-025 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.176 in (29.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.316 in (33.43 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range.
