S70038 is an AS568-038 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against dry heat, many oxidizing chemicals, and weathering. Silicone delivers very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).

It sees regular use in ovens and heated equipment, medical devices, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
