-041 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70041, an AS568-041 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.989 in (75.92 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.129 in (79.48 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service.

It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and food and beverage processing.
