S70043 is an AS568-043 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.489 in (88.62 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.629 in (92.18 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.
