S70045 is an AS568-045 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Silicone offers excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and many oxidizing chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, food and beverage processing, and ovens and heated equipment.
