-047 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70047, this is an AS568-047 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Silicone delivers very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to concentrated acids or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.
