-050 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

Ordered as S70050, this is an AS568-050 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.
