-106 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70106 is an AS568-106 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.174 in (4.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.38 in (9.65 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against dry heat, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range.

Common environments for this compound include ovens and heated equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and sanitary process lines.
