1.5MM CS X 11MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S1.5X11 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11 mm (0.433 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 14 mm (0.55 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. This material stands up to weathering, dry heat, and extreme heat and cold. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. Common environments for this compound include medical devices, electronics and electrical enclosures, and sanitary process lines.
