Ordered as S1.6X11.1, this is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.1 mm (0.437 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 14.3 mm (0.56 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to steam above its rated range or concentrated acids will shorten service life.
