-129 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70129 is an AS568-129 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.549 in (39.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.755 in (44.58 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids are present.
