-135 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-135 red Silicone 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.925 in (48.9 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.131 in (54.13 mm), catalogued under part number S70135. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range and very good compression set resistance across its range. The compound resists weathering, extreme heat and cold, and dry heat. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.
