-150 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70150 is an AS568-150 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. The compound resists weathering, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.
