-153 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70153 is an AS568-153 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.487 in (88.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.693 in (93.8 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The compound resists many oxidizing chemicals, dry heat, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).

It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
