-154 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70154 is an AS568-154 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.737 in (94.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.943 in (100.15 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is specified for excellent electrical insulating properties and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or steam above its rated range call for a different compound.

Typical settings include electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
