S70164 is an AS568-164 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists weathering, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers an exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
