-166 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

APG stocks the S70166, an AS568-166 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for physiological inertness and low toxicity, exceptionally wide service temperature range. It resists weathering, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids will shorten service life.
