This o-ring is supplied in AS568-170 red Silicone 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm), catalogued under part number S70170. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Silicone delivers excellent electrical insulating properties and an exceptionally wide service temperature range. The compound resists dry heat, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range are present.
