S70201 is an AS568-201 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Silicone is specified for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service call for a different compound.
