-206 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70206 is an AS568-206 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The material holds up against weathering, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or concentrated acids call for a different compound.
