-209 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70209 is an AS568-209 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The material holds up against weathering, dry heat, and many oxidizing chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to concentrated acids or abrasive dynamic service will shorten service life.
