APG stocks the S70213, an AS568-213 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.921 in (23.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.199 in (30.45 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.
It resists extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone delivers excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or abrasive dynamic service are present.
You will find this material specified across pharmaceutical manufacturing, ovens and heated equipment, and medical devices.
S70213 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 1.141 g. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. If you need a size, durometer or compound that is not listed, APG can cross-reference from a print, a sample or a competitor part number.
