-218 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-218 red Silicone 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.234 in (31.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.512 in (38.4 mm), catalogued under part number S70218. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to weathering, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Silicone is valued for excellent electrical insulating properties and very good compression set resistance across its range. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range are present.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, ovens and heated equipment, and sanitary process lines.
