1.5MM CS X 22MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S1.5X22 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 22 mm (0.866 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 25 mm (0.98 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified here for physiological inertness and low toxicity, exceptionally wide service temperature range. The material holds up against ozone and UV exposure, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids will shorten service life.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact. It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and food and beverage processing.
