3.5MM CS X 22MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

APG stocks the S3.5X22, a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 22 mm (0.866 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 29 mm (1.14 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to dry heat, ozone and UV exposure, and extreme heat and cold. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. It sees regular use in electronics and electrical enclosures, sanitary process lines, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
