-231 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70231 is an AS568-231 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified for physiological inertness and low toxicity, very good compression set resistance across its range. It resists weathering, many oxidizing chemicals, and ozone and UV exposure. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in steam above its rated range or concentrated acids.
