-237 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70237 is an AS568-237 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.359 in (85.32 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.637 in (92.38 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists extreme heat and cold, weathering, and dry heat. Silicone is specified for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils call for a different compound.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, electronics and electrical enclosures, and medical devices.
