-248 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70248 is an AS568-248 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Silicone is valued for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, dry heat, and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.

Common environments for this compound include medical devices, electronics and electrical enclosures, and sanitary process lines.
