S70257 is an AS568-257 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.859 in (148.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.137 in (155.88 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone is specified here for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. It resists extreme heat and cold, dry heat, and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids.
