2.5MM CS X 27MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

APG stocks the S2.5X27, a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 27 mm (1.063 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 32 mm (1.26 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Silicone is specified here for exceptionally wide service temperature range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. It resists ozone and UV exposure, weathering, and dry heat. Service temperature is rated from -80°F (-62.2°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range call for a different compound.
