The S3X27 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 27 mm (1.063 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 33 mm (1.3 in). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, weathering, and ozone and UV exposure. Silicone is known for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or concentrated acids are present.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact. You will find this material specified across medical devices, electronics and electrical enclosures, and ovens and heated equipment.
