-277 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70277 is an AS568-277 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11.484 in (291.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.762 in (298.75 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Silicone offers excellent electrical insulating properties, physiological inertness and low toxicity. This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or abrasive dynamic service.

Typical settings include food and beverage processing, ovens and heated equipment, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
