-278 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The S70278 is an AS568-278 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.984 in (304.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.262 in (311.45 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, extreme heat and cold, and weathering. Silicone is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and flexibility that holds at very low temperatures. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where steam above its rated range or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
