-283 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

The compound resists weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to concentrated acids or steam above its rated range will shorten service life.
