2MM CS X 3MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S2X3 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3 mm (0.118 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 7 mm (0.28 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Silicone is specified for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. The compound resists dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and many oxidizing chemicals. Published continuous service range is -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in concentrated acids or hydrocarbon fuels and oils.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact. Typical settings include sanitary process lines, electronics and electrical enclosures, and ovens and heated equipment.
