1.6MM CS X 3.1MM ID RED SILICONE 70D

S1.6X3.1 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.1 mm (0.122 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 6.3 mm (0.25 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against extreme heat and cold, weathering, and many oxidizing chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone is known for flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact. It sees regular use in medical devices, ovens and heated equipment, and electronics and electrical enclosures.
